Glimpses: Vintage, Fine & Vernacular Photography.

This is the 2nd installment of photography only auctions with Potter & Potter. We were able to produce this auction four months after the huge success of "Picture This". I co-curated this auction with my dear friend Greg Rivera and the Potter team. This follow up is a very focused curation with a narrative approach to the image selections. It feels closer to a group museum show that highlights often overlooked categories. We really wanted to focus on the "Snapshot" as we both feel that they encapsulate time in the rawest, realist sense of proliferated expression. I see this as the beginning of the snapshot being offered out of a more lowbrow offering platforms such as ebay, instagram, the flea market.
